On July 24, the 2026 Global Light Industry & Textile Development and Trade Forum came to a successful close. Centered on the theme of “Intelligent Green Manufacturing, Globally Connected Industrial Chains, and Inclusive Trade”, the forum gathered industry authorities, leading manufacturers and research experts from over 30 countries worldwide, building a multilateral industrial dialogue platform covering Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America.
Participants conducted in-depth exchanges on industrial upgrading experience, focusing on key topics including low-carbon textile technology R&D, green raw material circulation, cross-border industrial park construction and sustainable trade regulations. Special discussions were held on the global supply solutions of light industrial supporting products such as recyclable packaging materials and lightweight aluminum consumables. During the forum, participants signed more than 30 cross-border cooperation memorandums, covering low-carbon technology export, joint R&D, raw material supply chain coordination and green talent training.
Industry insiders commented that the forum has broken barriers to global light industry cooperation, accelerated the low-carbon transformation of global manufacturing, and unlocked massive opportunities for foreign trade enterprises to explore the global green market. Countries will establish a regular industrial communication mechanism in the future to continuously streamline cross-border trade procedures for green light industrial products.
